Member Spotlight: The House of Grace

For over 35 years, The House of Grace has served as a faith-based refuge and support system for women overcoming abuse and lifelong trauma. Through God’s guidance, the organization provides counseling, life skills training, and spiritual growth opportunities to help “chronic survivors” heal and thrive. These women not only find strength and restoration for themselves but also positively impact their families and communities. Outreach efforts extend to programs like Mercy House, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, and local organizations such as the Humane Society, allowing the women to give back as they grow.
Following the fire on January 6, 2025, The House of Grace has witnessed daily blessings throughout the restoration process; no one was harmed, damage was limited, and God’s presence was clear. With continued grace and community support, the organization is rebuilding and still welcoming donations to support class programming, staff salaries, and home maintenance.
Funded entirely by generous churches, individuals, and local businesses, the House invites anyone to schedule a tour and experience the renewed mid-1800s décor and the spirit of healing and hope that fills the home.
