An election year brings added attention to the decisions being made at the state and local levels, making opportunities to engage directly with elected officials especially timely.

The Cumberland Valley Business Alliance (CVBA) will host its Franklin County Legislative Breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at The Orchards Restaurant, 1580 Orchard Drive, Chambersburg.

The program will feature a panel discussion with State Rep. Rob Kauffman, Rich Irvin and Chad Reichard, covering legislative priorities and timely business and community issues. Attendees will also have the opportunity to submit questions and participate in the discussion.

The Legislative Breakfast provides business and community leaders with a chance to get up to speed on current priorities, hear different perspectives and better understand how decisions at the state and local levels may affect Franklin County.

The event is open to the public, and both CVBA members and nonmembers are encouraged to attend. Tickets are now on sale, with registration to close on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
